Loss of Sensation

In many spinal cord injuries, trauma to the spinal cord may create loss of sensation in some areas of the body. This loss of sensation range from minor to profound, where no feeling or sensation is noticed at all. The cause of the loss of sensation is due to damage to the sensory nerves that carries the feelings of pressure, pain, temperature and touch to the brain via the spinal cord. Using the Neuro-Acupuncture method and other exercises, a range of up to normal sensation can be recovered.
